We’re a group of former organizational leaders with one thing in common. And that’s the desire to help people grow in their awareness of God’s love.
The Summit Clear team is currently co-led by John, an engineer, educator, filmmaker, father, and husband who often introduces himself as the disciple whom Jesus loved. John is a cancer survivor who loves to pray for the sick. Seeing God work in new ways inspired him to receive his level two healing certification through Global Awakening.
Jenn is also team co-leader and a speaker, writer, educator, mentor, coach and spiritual director who completed her spiritual direction studies through CFDM Seattle. Between Zoom calls she loves cooking amazing dishes with her adult children. She is currently working on her upcoming book, Dim Sum on Sundays.
Carolyn is a mentor and seasoned spiritual director who completed her training at North Park in Chicago. When she isn’t being a spiritual companion for others through times of transition, grief, and loss, or mentoring a group of women, Carolyn can be found spending time in nature, reading, and playing hide-and-seek with her grand kids.
Rob is an author and champion of non-western cross-cultural leaders. He is a leadership coach who earned his doctorate in leadership at APU. When he isn’t working, or even when he is, you can find him making friends in the gym or on a long run.
Scott has had many roles over the years, having spent a significant amount of time working together alongside Japanese pastors. Having experienced the love of God in a deeply personal and transformative way, Scott recently completed his doctoral studies in spiritual formation. He loves taking his daughters out for coffee and guy’s movie night once in a blue moon with his son-in-law.
Susan is a lifelong educator, mentor, and leadership coach who holds a doctorate in facilitation. And I’ll bet you didn’t know she also has her pilot’s license! As talented as she is, she’s often just fine sipping coffee and reading a good book when she isn’t gathering others in their spiritual journeys through her new ministry Encounter.
Jermaine hails from the State of Hawaii and is our Scholar in Residence. She brings her unique life experience, having earned her doctorate in political science while living overseas. When she isn’t surfing, cycling, hiking or looking for that dang missing puzzle piece, you can find her hanging out with students as adjunct faculty at The Seattle School.
Charisa is passionate about walking with others in their healing journeys to find wholeness and restoration through encounter with Jesus. She is a training facilitator of healing groups through the Trauma Healing Institute. She loves learning from different cultures, is a Francophile and an avid hockey fan (both of her son + NYR). You can often find her striking up a conversation with strangers, sharing from the overflow of love and security she has found as a child of God.
Peter is an engineer by training and enjoys teaching from God’s Word. His passion and hunger are for God to pour out His Spirit on the Church once again. He loves being a father to two children and grilling Korean BBQ for our friends and neighbors!
While we each have other affiliations, the Summit Clear Team is a registered non-profit entity in the State of Washington committed to doing our part in raising up the next generation of leaders.
